Thomas Bornemann
Head of Underwriting SCOR Germany
Thomas Bornemann, Head of Underwriting at SCOR Germany, has more than 30 years of experience in life reinsurance, mainly in Underwriting. He joined Gerling Life Re in 2002, later acquired by SCOR.
His major achievements include his leadership in developing SCOR’s tele-underwriting process for the German market in 2008. Since 2015, he has served as Head of Underwriting for the German and Central European markets.
Before joining SCOR in 2002, Thomas worked in the Life Underwriting department as Head of Underwriting for Swiss Re Life & Health in Hanover and Cologne for ten years.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from VWA Hochschule für Berufsbegleitendes Studium.
