SCOR's Pricing Online Tool, or SPOT, has been developed to help insurers underwrite better, cheaper and faster. Manual underwriting can often be time-consuming and resource-intensive, less agile and more prone to human error. By moving to a more digitalized process insurers can become more competitive and profitable.

SPOT addresses the challenges faced by insurers who want to move towards a more automated underwriting process, but don't have the budget, resources or expertise to make the transition from manual underwriting. About the tool

SPOT consists of the SPOT platform and the SPOT database. The SPOT platform is a hard-coding free, fully customizable platform that provides clients with a digital submission interface; a data-driven, digital automated pricing enginge, policy documentation issuance capabilities, and access to a simple and intuitive dashboard.

SPOT is product and line of business agnostic, has multi-line and multi-language capability, and is provided as a web and mobile application. It also has API capabilities, so it can be integrated into the client's underwriting and policy administration systems, and can also connect to, and retrieve data from, third party systems.

SPOT can assist clients in developing, underwriting, pricing and distributing their products.
