Ultimately, should you remain dissatisfied with Lloyd’s final response, you may, if eligible*, refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) within six months. The FOS is an independent service in the United Kingdom for settling disputes between consumers and businesses providing financial details.

*You are an eligible complainant if you are a consumer, a micro enterprise or a charity or trust(ee) with an annual income or asset value respectively for the latter two, of less than £1m, domiciled in the United Kingdom.
A micro enterprise is defined as "an enterprise which employs fewer than ten persons and has a turnover or annual balance sheet that does not exceed EURO 2 million".
