Stephanie Dunn
Executive Vice President, US Inforce
In her current role since 2020, Stephanie manages multiple large and diverse teams responsible for the administration and operations of SCOR Americas' inforce management, new business and solutions delivery. A member of SCOR's Executive Leadership Team since 2018, she had previously served as SCOR's Chief Legal Counsel in the Americas since 2015, managing the legal and treaty support for all new business, inforce transactions, vendor relations and human resource needs.
Stephanie has been in the industry since the late 1990s. Prior to moving in-house, she was a member of the litigation group at Steptoe & Johnson LLP for nine years in Washington, DC. She specialized in complex arbitration and litigation involving reinsurance and insurance disputes, which eventually led her to an in-house counsel position in 2007 with Transamerica Reinsurance now SCOR.
Stephanie's passion for diversity, equity and inclusion is evidenced in her volunteer and community service activities. She serves as the Executive Sponsor for SCOR Americas' Diversity, Equity and Belonging Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Alliance Center for Education in Charlotte, NC, having served as President of the organization in 2021 and 2022. The Alliance Center focuses on providing family enrichment programs and high-quality educational services to more than 800 children in low-income, underserved communities in the Charlotte area.
She earned her J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and graduated with a B.A. in Public Policy from Hamilton College. She is admitted to the Bar in both Washington, D.C. and the State of New York.
