Michaela Trawinski
As Head of Claims and registered solicitor, Michaela is responsible for the assessment of L&H claims for all markets that are served from the Cologne office, including Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and Israel. Michaela joined SCOR in 2015, bringing more than 20 years of reinsurance expertise.
She and her team support clients and internal stakeholders with all requests regarding claims management. This includes also the development of new products, policy wordings, and participation in multidisciplinary projects. In addition to this, the claims team delivers training and webinars to clients and for the industry.
Prior to her current role, Michaela worked as a Claims Manager for Gen Re and Swiss Re where she was also able to acquire knowledge on claims auditing. She conducted international audits for both internal and external clients.
Michaela is a graduate of the University of Bielefeld and hold a second state exam in law.
