James Dixon
James is a director of underwriting, R&D at SCOR with more than 15 years of experience in the Life insurance industry. He has spent the past 12 years underwriting both Life and Critical Illness on the direct and reinsurance sides.
James focuses on underwriting high net worth cases with a special interest in non-medical risks and research. He also assists with SOLEM underwriting manual improvements and the creation of client dashboards and other data-based insights.
James graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in bioethics and a passion for debate and risk. He is a published author, webinar host and speaker at industry events in Canada. He is also certified SCUBA diver, avid traveler and someone who is willing to try almost anything at least once.
