He began his career at SCOR Global Life in 1996 as a life actuary in charge of actuarial studies. He was subsequently appointed as Chief Actuary at SCOR's U.S. subsidiary in Dallas between 2001 and 2004. After returning to Paris, he moved to Legal & General (France), serving as Head of Legal & General's Actuarial Department between 2005 and 2008. He returned to SCOR in 2008 as Chief Actuary of SCOR Global Life. He was promoted to Head of Actuarial & Risk in 2014 and subsequently to Chief Knowledge Officer of SCOR Global Life in 2017. In 2024, he has assumed his current role. 

Bruno is a member of the French and American Societies of Actuaries. He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE). He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics.
