Two SCOR Directors, Kory Sorenson and Fields Wicker-Miurin, elected “Influential Women in Insurance”

In August 2015, Intelligent Insurer magazine published a supplement, “100 Influential Women in Insurance”, profiling the 100 leading women in the (re)insurance industry. Two of SCOR’s Directors, Kory Sorenson and Fields Wicker-Miurin, were included on the list. They were asked why and how they chose the sector, what challenges they faced along the way, and what their hopes and aspirations are for the future.

Kory Sorenson: “This year, I am delighted to have been appointed chairman of SCOR’s Audit Committee. First, it is an honour to have been selected by my illustrious peers. Second, this role marks the next step for me in corporate governance. I welcome the opportunity to be further engaged with the finance team in directing and leading our discussions”.
Fields Wicker-Miurin: “SCOR continues to grow and innovate at pace – integrating strategic acquisitions, entering new markets, developing new instruments, and strengthening long-term relationships. It is a privilege to serve as an NED for this type of well-run, visionary company.
