SCOR representatives appointed to chairmanship of two permanent working groups within the European federation Insurance Europe

Benoît Hugonin, Director of Prudential Affairs at the SCOR group, becomes Chairman of the Insurance Europe permanent working group devoted to reinsurance and international business. Emmanuel Gorlier, Paris Hub Tax Manager, has been appointed Chairman of the Insurance Europe permanent tax working group.
Both appointments came into effect on 1 January 2015.
These appointments demonstrate the recognition of SCOR’s international dimension, as well as its regulatory and tax expertise, by European insurance and reinsurance players.
Insurance Europe is a European federation of insurers and reinsurers whose main objective is to promote the role played by its members to the European and international authorities. Its members are the national insurance associations of 34 countries, representing undertakings that account for around 95% of the sector’s total European premium income. European insurers generate annual premium income of more than EUR 1,100 billion, employ almost one million people and invest over EUR 8,500 billion in the global economy.
