NEW APPOINTMENTS AT SCOR GLOBAL P&C
Caren Buening is appointed to the role of Market Manager, Germany P&C Treaties. As of January 1st, 2018, she will take full responsibility for the German P&C market.
Caren brings 15 years of German market underwriting experience to this new role.
Helmut Soehler will remain the Main Legal Representative for SCOR Global P&C in Germany in 2018. He will take on an active role in defining the key impacts and potential (re)insurance opportunities arising from technology in the EMEA region.
After completing her mathematical and economic studies in 2001, Caren began her career in the actuarial reserving department of Gerling Global Re, focusing mainly on the assessment of European motor portfolios. During the run off of Gerling Global Re in 2002, she decided to move to underwriting, and became a treaty underwriter for the German market at Converium. She joined SCOR in 2002 as 2007 following the acquisition of Converium.
