Emmanuel Joffre is appointed Chief Human Resources Officer
Emmanuel Joffre, previously Head of Human Resources for the Americas Hub, has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer with immediate effect, reporting to Group Chief Operating Officer, Romain Launay.

Based in Paris after a transition period in New York, he will be responsible for all aspects of the Group’s human resources.

Emmanuel Joffre, a French citizen, holds a master’s degree from French business school ESSEC and a graduate degree in law. A seasoned HR professional in all operational and functional areas, he has over 20 years of professional experience in leading international HR positions in various industries, both in France and globally. Prior to being promoted to the position of CHRO he was SCOR’s Head of Human Resources for the Americas, based in New York, having taken up the post in 2017. Emmanuel started his career at Fresenius Kabi in 1997, before joining Legrand. In 2002, he transitioned to L’Oréal where he held various HRBP roles in France, before joining Alstom in London in 2008 where he took over as Head of HR for the UK and Ireland Transport Business. Still in London, he joined AIG and the insurance sector in 2011, before moving to New York in 2012 as Global HRBP for the Claims organization, a position he held until 2015 when he became the HR leader for Personal Insurance, a unit of the AIG P&C Division. He joined SCOR in 2017.
