Appointments at the Americas P&C subsidiaries and at the Americas Hub of SCOR

As of January 1st, 2016, Jean-Paul Conoscente is appointed CEO of all the US P&C subsidiaries of the Group, Joseph El-Sayegh, CEO of the Canadian subsidiary and Neil Ringrose, Chief Agent for the SCOR UK branch in Canada.

As of January 1st, 2016, Paul Christoff, currently Chief Financial Officer of the American P&C subsidiaries and of the Americas Hub, will take on the role of Acting CEO for the Americas Hub. 
Henry Klecan, who previously cumulated these roles, will serve as a Non-Executive Director for SCOR US companies, SCOR Canada, SCOR Global Life Americas and SCOR Global Life USA as of January 1rst, 2016.

Jean-Paul Conoscente is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley (Master of Science in Structural Engineering) and the Ecole des Travaux Publics, Paris (Engineering Diploma in Civil Engineering). He started his career in structural engineering in California and later entered the reinsurance market in Europe through CAT Modelling. He then held several senior positions with AON Benfield as a reinsurance broker and then with AXA Re as a reinsurance underwriter. In 2008, he joined SCOR as the Chief Underwriting Officer for the Americas for SCOR Global P&C and helped to transform SCOR’s team and portfolio in the Americas. 
 
Joseph El-Sayegh is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal in Electrical Engineering. He has been active in the insurance/reinsurance market for more than 25 years. His prior responsibilities at SCOR include Property & Casualty Chief Underwriting Officer for Canada, underwriting manager for the Québec market and Risk Manager for SCOR Canada. Prior to joining SCOR in 2000, he was Branch Manager for Property Facultative in the Middle-East for Gen Re; and Underwriter and Loss Prevention engineer for FM Global in Montréal. In addition to his engineering degree, he is a qualified Canadian Risk Manager (CRM) and Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP).
 
Neil Ringrose is a graduate of Southampton University, England (Electrical Engineering). Starting his career as a Loss Prevention Engineer in the UK, he subsequently moved into sales of insurance and related risk management services as a Senior Account Executive for a large Risk Management based property insurance company in Canada and the UK. In 1997, he joined SCOR Canada Reinsurance Company as a Technical Facultative Underwriter and subsequently became Canadian National Manager, Business Solutions in 2003. Most recently, Neil has been co-leading the SCOR UK Company initiative to establish SCOR Insurance – Canadian Branch as a licensed insurance company in Canada.
 
Paul Christoff is a graduate of the University of Toronto, having obtained a degree in commerce and finance. He also holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Prior to joining SCOR in 2009, Paul Christoff held senior positions in the P&C industry, both in operations and finance. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SCOR US in the Americas Hub.
