SCOR Global Life announces the creation of a new Executive Leadership Team. Continuing the implementation of the “Vision in Action” strategic plan, this new organization reinforces SCOR Global Life’s customer-centric and value creation focus.
Under the leadership of Paolo De Martin, CEO of SCOR Global Life, the new Executive Leadership Team includes:
- Simon Pearson, deputy CEO of SCOR Global Life, as Head of Global Markets, overseeing the implementation of SCOR Global Life’s strategy at regional level while leveraging strong global capabilities. Simon is based in London.
- Brona Magee as Head of Client Solutions, ensuring a suite of innovative solutions is available to SCOR Global Life’s clients. Brona is based in Dublin.
- Bruno Latourrette as Chief Knowledge Officer and Chief Actuary, focusing on expanding the knowledge of risk for the benefit of SCOR Global Life and its clients. Bruno is based in Paris.
- Corinne Trocellier as Chief Operating Officer, enabling strong delivery capabilities through the investments in technology and the continuous focus on talent. Corinne is based in Paris.
- Michael Breuer as Chief Financial Officer, driving the strategic alignment of performance metrics and intensifying SCOR Global Life’s value creation focus. Michael is based in Cologne.

Biographies
Simon Pearson is promoted to Head of Global Markets. Simon Pearson, a British citizen, is a qualified actuary. After leading Revios in the United Kingdom since 2004, Simon joined the Executive Committee of SCOR Global Life at its inception in November 2006. Following the acquisition of Transamerica Re in August 2011, he joined the new Executive Committee of SCOR Global Life, heading SCOR Global Life markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. In 2014, he became CEO of EMEA, Deputy CEO of SCOR Global Life, and member of the Group’s Executive Committee. Simon is a Fellow of the UK Institute & Faculty of Actuaries.
Brona Magee is promoted to Head of Client Solutions. Brona Magee, an Irish citizen, holds a Bachelor of Actuarial and Financial Studies degree from University College Dublin. From 2006 to 2011 she worked for Transamerica International Reinsurance Ireland, which was acquired by SCOR in 2011. She became CFO for SCOR Global Life Reinsurance Ireland from 2011 to 2013. Brona moved to Charlotte USA to take the positon of CFO - Americas at SCOR Global Life in 2013 and in 2015 was promoted to Deputy CEO – Americas. In February 2017 she became Chief Actuary for SCOR Global Life. Brona is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.
Bruno Latourrette is promoted to Chief Knowledge Officer and Chief Actuary. Bruno Latourrette, a French citizen, is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique (ENSAE), and holds a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. Bruno Latourrette began his career at SCOR Global Life in 1996, in charge of actuarial studies. He was subsequently Chief Actuary at SCOR's Dallas subsidiary between 2001 and 2004, before becoming Senior Actuary at the Paris office in 2004. He was appointed head of Legal & General's actuarial department in France in 2005, before becoming Chief Actuary of SCOR Global Life in 2008, Head of Actuarial & Underwriting in 2013, and subsequently Head of Actuarial and Risk in 2014. Bruno Latourrette is a member of the French and American Societies of Actuaries.
Corinne Trocellier extends her role as Chief Operating Officer. Corinne Trocellier, a French Citizen, is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale Paris (Master of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Technology Innovation) and the Paris VI-Pierre and Marie Curie University (DEA in Molecular Biophysics and Master of Physics). She started her career in an international consulting firm, where she specialized in mergers & acquisitions projects and in the implementation of major transformations of organization and information systems in the fields of life insurance and reinsurance. In 2011, she joined SCOR as Head of Group Project Office. She created and managed this transversal team under the responsibility of the Group COO. On the request of the Group COMEX, she led strategic projects such as Solvency 2 (pre-application phase), and the integration of Transamerica and Generali USA. She has been Chief Operating Officer of SCOR Global Life since 2015.
Michael Breuer extends his role as Chief Financial Officer. Michael Breuer, a German citizen, holds a Masters degree in Business and Economics from Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Michael started his career in 1992 at a German mutual composite insurer as controller. He joined Converium in 2000 as Head of Controlling. Following the acquisition of Converium by SCOR in 2007, Michael became Global Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and then Chief Financial Officer of SCOR Switzerland in 2008. He has been Chief Financial Officer of SCOR Global Life since 2011. Michael is a certified Insurance Sales Representative in Germany.
