The two-day SCOR Annual Conference 2018 brought together clients and partners from all over the world to discuss and highlight key topics that are building and changing our industry.
The sessions focused on the role of industry-wide initiatives and country & risk-specific partnerships in enhancing insurability and spurring innovation.
130 senior managers, CEOs, CFOs, CROs, reinsurance buyers and insurance senior executives from 50 countries gathered to listen to insightful presentations about the latest trends in the (re)insurance sector. The speakers were a mix of external specialists and SCOR experts – see the full list here.

On the first day, the presentations and discussions were organized around three themes: “Partnerships between insurers and governments to expand markets”, “(Re)insurance industry-led technological initiatives” and “Country or risk-specific partnerships creating value for societies while expanding insurability”. The second day was organized around breakout sessions on the topic of “How to combine science and technology to enhance insurability and spur innovation?”
